Managed IT Services for Public Sector Companies

Over the past decade PCtronics has built up a wealth of knowledge servicing public sector clients. While our experience enables us to act as a Prime Contractor on many projects, our SBE/DBE/ WoBE certifications also make PCtronics an attractive partner to other Prime Contracting teams.

We were recently retained by a major public sector client to provide an array of Project Management services involving systems integration and VOIP technology. For the same client, though our ex-military personnel, we carried out a confidential Cyber Security assessment involving penetration testing (ethical hacking) through the client’s firewalls to determine potential areas of weakness. This proved to be a valuable exercise and revealed unsuspected areas requiring improvements in security.

Other public sector work entailed rolling out phased IT refresh programs involving hardware and software upgrades for several hundred users. Our experience in the private sector enabled us to re-purpose some of the hardware for re-use by the client making well received savings.

PCtronics personnel are also adept to working as part of an integrated team and we have augmented client in-house teams on several occasions. This often brings added value to the in-house teams that are used to working in a particular industry; PCtronics reach across numerous industries enables learnings to be brought from one industry to another.
